English definition: The second formless meditative absorption and its resultant formless realm of existence, so termed because in its preparatory phase infinite consciousness is the object of meditation. The mind holds that even space has aspects and reality is infinite without dimension, thus the mind is infinite without dimension. Based on that result such samadhi arises and the result is to be born here. The base is either a. taking rebirth in the second meditative absorption of the Formless Realms or b. a lower being possessing a physical support entering into the meditative absorptions of the second meditative absorption of the Formless Realm.
