English term: Aggregate of perception
English Definition: The mental factor which apprehends the particular features of an object and in this way distinguishes it from other objects. It makes an experience intelligible and recognizable, thus forming the basis for labels, concepts, memories, and so forth, all of which are also included in this group of phenomena. Due to its importance in the perceptual process, it is also classified as the third of the five aggregates.
