English term: Three abodes of ordinary beings
English Definition: The three heavens, out of the eight in the form realm, where non-arya beings abide, in contrast with the five pure abodes within the very same realm where they do. This is reflected both in the Tibetan (“three abodes of the ordinary beings”) and Sanskrit (“ordinary beings”) terms.
