English Definition: One of the two types of knowledge that are acquired when one attains liberation from samsara. It refers to the understanding that one has eradicated the afflictions. This type of knowledge is usually paired with the knowledge of non-production, i.e. that the afflictions, once destroyed, will not be produced again.
